How to setup a VPN client


Setting up a VPN client differs from one operating system to another, here you can find some guides to setup a VPN client on most used operating systems.

Windows 7

1- Click the Start button. In the search bar, type VPN and then select Set up a virtual private network (VPN) connection.
2- Enter the domain name of the server to which you want to connect in the "Internet address" box, get it from the Servers page. Write "RealFreeVPN" in the "Destination name" box and click next.
3- On this screen, put in "realfreevpn" as your username and the password that you got from the Servers page then Click Connect.

Windows 8

1- Go to Settings. In the search bar, type VPN and then select Set up a virtual private network (VPN) connection.
2- Enter the domain name of the server to which you want to connect in the "Internet address" box, get it from the Servers page. Write "RealFreeVPN" in the "Destination name" box and click next.
3- On this screen, put in "realfreevpn" as your username and the password that you got from the Servers page then Click Connect.

Android

1- Open the Settings app and tap More under Wireless & networks. (On Android 2.3, tap Wireless & networks.)
2- Tap the VPN option on the Wireless & networks screen. (On Android 2.3, tap VPN Settings.)
3- Tap the + button. Enter "RealFreeVPN" into the Name field, select PPTP or L2TP as the type of VPN server you’re connecting to, and enter the VPN server’s address that you got from the Servers page.
4- Tap the VPN to connect once you have set it up. Use the username "realfreevpn" and the password that you got from the Servers page then Click Connect.

IOS

1- Tap Settings.
2- Tap General.
3- Tap Network.
4- Tap VPN.
5- Tap Add VPN Configuration.
6- Along the top you will see some tabs, you can select PPTP, L2TP or IPSec all are supported by RealFreeVPN.
7- Enter the information for your VPN in the corresponding fields. Get them from the Servers page.
8- Tap Save. To connect go back to Settings on your IOS and toggle the VPN switch on.
